Why This Program?
I had reached a point in my career where I was looking for new challenges and wanted to close some knowledge gaps in general management with an MBA. I purposely looked at EMBA programs outside of Texas, as I didn’t want a program focused on oil and gas. Instead, I sought to be part of a diverse cohort where the rigorous curriculum is reinforced by high-performing executives from a wide range of industries. I also wanted a program with a global brand and a focus on action learning so I could apply what I learned in school — and from my classmates — immediately to my job. MIT Sloan’s EMBA program was a great fit. It offers many differentiators that create a unique educational experience.
