Why This Program?

A growing part of my business involves developing software and systems to make real estate transactions more efficient with a focus on automation and cybersecurity. I wanted an MBA to gain the business knowledge and tools necessary to bring innovation and disruption to what has been a very archaic industry. I came to MIT’s EMBA Program for the diversity of the cohort. I’m not a formally trained tech person, but I wanted to be surrounded by people who work with technology in other fast-changing industries like biotech, healthcare, and financial services. I wanted to learn from students in other fields who think differently and innovatively. MIT and Kendall Square’s ecosystem is the place to be. I also was impressed by MIT Sloan students’ humbleness and approachability. This is a program where my strengths would be recognized and my knowledge gaps filled in a collaborative way.
