Spencer Scott is head of media platforms at Publishers Clearing House, where he leads the product development and revenue teams. Previously, he spent 15 years in the ad tech world, holding executive positions at several media companies. He also is an advisory board member of Yesware, and he has served on the board of two companies acquired by Facebook and Groupon.
Why This Program?
“I spent a lot of my career at startups where I worked with engineers on innovation, but my focus was always on business issues. Much of my prior education involved studying history, so I did a lot of learning on the fly. I wanted to go back to school for a formal business education. I came here because of the general management curriculum, which incorporates engineering and scientific approaches to business in an ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation. This was a great fit for me. I didn’t apply anywhere else.”
